Summer Programs


Rock to the Future summer programs help students to learn, grow, and rock. Music education is a critical part of growing up, and our programs help students build the skills they need to succeed on and off stage. This summer, students will have the opportunity to receive group music lessons on guitar, bass, drums, or keyboard, have band practice with peers to write original music, participate in creative workshops, and enjoy a fun musical summer with their peers and instructors! We will have our Summer Programs in two locations: Kensington and Germantown, for grades 6 - 12. Each summer program will be two weeks long, Monday through Fridays! Below are the dates and times for each location:

Students may be eligible for paid incentives for attending our summer camps through our partnership with Philadelphia Youth Network. We will follow up with registrants in June regarding this opportunity.

  • Kensington High School:

    • July 14 - Welcome Field Trip

    • July 25-29, August 8 - 12, Monday - Friday, 8am - 3pm
  • Roosevelt Elementary School:

    • July 14 - Welcome Field Trip

    • July 18-22, August 1-5, Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 3:30pm

Students will spend the summer participating in exciting music classes and creative activities.

No cost to participate
  • No experience necessary and we provide all instruments

  • Transportation passes provided

  • Meals provided

  • Must reside in Philadelphia

  • Must commit to attending both weeks
