Our services help:

To use our housing services, talk to your DHS social worker or CUA case manager. You can also speak to the housing counselor at the Achieving Reunification Center (ARC) by calling (267) 514-3500.

Waiver Information

The name waiver comes from the fact that the federal government "waives" Medical Assistance/Medicaid rules for institutional care in order for Pennsylvania to use the same funds to provide support and services for people closer to home in their own communities.

In Pennsylvania, the Department of Human Services administers multiple Medical Assistance/Medicaid waivers. Each waiver has its own unique set of eligibility requirements and services.

Consolidated Waiver -designed to help individuals with an intellectual disability, autism, or developmental disability to live more independently within their homes and communities. Supports youth under the age of 22.

Adult Autism Waiver (AAW) for adults 22 and older; The program is designed to help adults with autism spectrum disorder participate in their communities in the way they want to, based upon their identified needs.

Together we can end the cycle of violence

Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia (AVP) is a victim service agency based in Philadelphia.

Providing a wide range of intervention, prevention, & support services, to children, youth, adults, and families, who have been a victim of violence, &/or have lost a loved one due to homicide.

Services are provided to Philadelphia FREE of charge, with no requirement for insurance or proof of insurance or citizenship.

Domestic Violence Resources in Philadelphia | Hotlines and Shelters for Abuse

If you, a friend, a family member or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, sexual violence, or physical or emotional abuse, resources are available:

Contact the police at 911 if you believe you or your loved one is in immediate danger.

Call this 24-hour Philadelphia Domestic Violence hotline: 1-866-723-3014 to get help for yourself or someone else who has experienced domestic violence.  This line is operated by WAA.

Call this 24-hour Philadelphia Sexual Violence hotline: 215-985-3333 to get help for yourself or someone else who has experienced sexual harassment, sexual assault, or sexual abuse.  This line is operated by Sexual Assault Counselors with WOAR- Philadelphia Center Against Sexual Violence.
